Tip #2 – how to avoid the prayer blockers

Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and supplication.” (RKJNT)

Prayer – PRA”YER, n. In a general sense, the act of asking for a favor, and particularly with earnestness.
1. In worship, a solemn address to the Supreme Being, consisting of adoration, or an expression of our sense of God”s glorious perfections, confession of our sins, supplication for mercy and forgiveness, intercession for blessings on others, and thanksgiving, or an expression of gratitude to God for his mercies and benefits. A prayer however may consist of a single petition, and it may be extemporaneous, written or printed.
3. Practice of supplication. – Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1828)

Tip #4 – more solutions; God will answer

Psalms 91:1, 14-16 “Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High;” 14 Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart. 15 When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour. 16 With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation. (BBE)

Scriptures for the day:

Isaiah 59:1-2 “Truly, the Lord’s hand has not become short, so that he is unable to give salvation; and his ear is not shut from hearing: 2 But your sins have come between you and your God, and by your evil doings his face has been veiled from you, so that he will give you no answer.” (BBE)

1 Peter 3:1, 6-7 Similarly, wives should be obedient to their husbands. That way, even if some of them don’t listen to our message, they’ll be won over by their wives’ behavior-without a word. 6 For example, Sarah was obedient to Abraham. She’d call him “my lord”. You’ve become her daughters when you do what’s good, and without being afraid of any kind of bullying.

7 Similarly, husbands should live together with their wives in consideration of the fact that their bodies are weaker. Give due honor to their femininity. Relate to them as fellow inheritors of the grace of life, so that your prayers won’t be blocked. (SENT)

Thought for the day:

You can avoid the prayer blockers if you get to know the reasons God will not listen. Learn what pleases God, how to pray and what to pray for; God will answer your prayers.

I pray that the prayer blockers will no longer be a problem for you. God does hear and answer the prayers of His obedient children when we have a right relationship.
Be blessed— Tim.
