Faith Test – Calm Through the Storm

Message in the picture
“Faith Test – Calm Faith through Storms – Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Why are you frightened? Do you still have no faith?”” Mark 4:40 (GNT)

Scripture for the day

Psalms 32:7-11 (TLB) You are my hiding place from every storm of life; you even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. 8 I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress. 9 Don’t be like a senseless horse or mule that has to have a bit in its mouth to keep it in line!
10 Many sorrows come to the wicked, but abiding love surrounds those who trust in the Lord. 11 So rejoice in him, all those who are his, and shout for joy, all those who try to obey him.

Thought for the day

Jesus was calm during the storm, “asleep on a pillow”; child of God, are you a true follower of Christ during your stormy faith tests? Are you comfortably calm like Jesus or afraid (and worried) like the disciples? Once while driving through a high-wind area, in a Volkswagen (bug), I did what Christ did, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I spoke to / rebuked the wind, it ceased.Stand on faith during you stormy faith tests and know that by faith God will work for and through you if you believe. Sometimes the storms of life are there to test your faith; pass each faith test and be blessed my friends—Tim.
