God is patient
Romans 2:1-4 So you have no reason, whoever you are, for judging: for in judging another you are judging yourself, for you do the same things. 2 And we are conscious that God is a true judge against those who do such things. 3 But you who are judging another for doing what you do yourself, are you hoping that God’s decision will not take effect against you? 4 Or is it nothing to you that God had pity on you, waiting and putting up with you for so long, not seeing that in his pity God’s desire is to give you a change of heart? Message in the picture:
“Yet, truly, my soul will be subject to God. For from him is my patience. 6 For he is my God and my Savior. He is my helper; I will not be expelled.” – Patience – Psalms 62:5-6
Scripture for the day:
2 Corinthians 6:6-7 We show that we are God’s servants by our pure lives, by our understanding, by our patience, and by our kindness. We show it by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love, 7 by speaking the truth, and by depending on God’s power. This right way of living has prepared us to defend ourselves against every kind of attack. Patience from God; Endure Life Troubles with Genuine Joy
Do you find yourself asking God for patience? If you are born again, you have it. Patience (long suffering per KJV) is part of the gift packaged with the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Some may not understand what the fruit of the Spirit means.
In short, they are attributes or characteristics of God that we get through the Holy Spirit when born again. Similar to getting traits, features, and abilities from our biological parents at birth through DNA.
So, if you ask anything, ask for knowledge and understanding of how to use patience. Try the online Bible Study Patience from God; Endure Life Troubles with Genuine Joy; hopefully, it will help.
Do not give up or be in a hurry. Learn to use patience, my friends, wait on the Lord; until next time—be blessed—♥ Tim.
